On Monday Year 7 to 9s had the yearly commemoration for the SS Otaki, the Russian people were under attack from the German people. The captains were putting flowers on the falling solidiers to remember them and what they done during this event.
Mr Fraser spoke to us about what happened and why we celebrate this event every year.
I remember when Mr Fraser told us that the Captain always went down with the ship.
I enjoyed listening to what everyone had to say and look forward to next years event.
